Expect scattered rains, thunderstorms in Eastern Visayas – Pagasa
Scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms are expected over Eastern Visayas and Caraga brought by the easterlies, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Saturday afternoon.
In a weather bulletin issued at 4:00 p.m., Pagasa advised residents in these areas to brace for possible flooding or landslides due to light to moderate, and at times heavy, rains.
Meanwhile, cloudy skies with scattered rains were expected in Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Bicol Region, as well as the provinces of Aurora and Quezon due to the northeast monsoon.
The Ilocos region and the rest of Central Luzon, on the other hand, would experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains due to the northeast monsoon.
For residents in Metro Manila and the rest of the country, expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers brought by localized thunderstorms. /atm
