Cebu student nabbed with shabu worth P2.5M

CEBU CITY-A freshmen university student in Cebu City was caught in possession of suspected shabu worth of more than P2.5 million on Wednesday evening.

Orpheus Edorne Pangilinan, 26, considered a level 1 high value target, was detained at the Cebu City Police Office pending filing of charges.

Police operatives seized from the suspect shabu packed in one small-sized, 8 medium-sized, and three large sachets.

Superintendent Cristopher Navida, Cebu City Police Intelligence Branch chief, said they monitored Pangilinan for three weeks before conducting the drug bust operation in Sitio Romblon, Barangay Inayawan, Cebu City, on Wednesday night.

Navida disclosed that they received the information regarding Pangilinan’s alleged illegal activities from the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology in Central Visayas (BJMP-7).
