48 solons call for Sandra Cam’s resignation from PCSO
Forty-eight lawmakers have called for the resignation of jueteng whistle-blower and recently-appointed Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) board member Sandra Cam.
The call for resignation was triggered by Cam’s alleged “contemptuous and threatening” remarks against Rep. Arnolfo Teves, Jr. and Rep. Danilo Suarez during separate House inquiries on the alleged failure of small town lottery (STL) operations of the PCSO.
House Resolution No. 1777 filed by Teves, Suarez and Rep. Robert Barbers also urged the lower Chamber to initiate contempt proceedings against Cam.
The resolution was signed by 48 House members.
INQUIRER.net has tried to get the side of Ms. Cam but there was no response yet as of posting time. /je
