N. Cotabato cops kill in 6 in raids
KIDAPAWAN CITY — Police in North Cotabato on Thursday killed at least six wanted persons who resisted arrest violently.
At least 38 other wanted persons were arrested during the one-day operation to serve search and arrest warrants in 16 towns, said Senior Supt. Jonathan Tangonan, North Cotabato police chief.
The six dead men resisted arrest and traded shots with lawmen, Tangonan said. —Edwin O. Fernandez
