Eagles repeat over Xavier

10:02 AM November 20, 2011

DIFFERENT YEAR. Different setting. Same result.

The reigning national champions Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) Magis Eagles took care of Xavier School, 69-58, in the opening game of the Passerelle division in the 2011 Milo-backed BEST Twin Tournament National Finals yesterday at the Xavier School gym in San Juan City.

The Magis Eagles gained their first-ever national crown in the BEST Tournament at the expense of the same Xavier School last year at the former’s homefloor over at the University of San Carlos gym.
