10:00 AM November 20, 2011

THE NATIONAL University Bulldogs, a team that is playing without reigning MVP Bobby Ray Parks, advanced to the next round of the 2011 Philippine Collegiate Champions League as they whitewashed the University of Northern Philippines, 96-51, yesterday at the Arena in San Juan City.

Emmanuel  Mbe led the way with 23 points while Reden Celda finished with 19 for NU.  The Bulldogs took control of the game in the second period as they led, 28-17 after back-to-back baskets from center Mbe and Robin Rono.

That lead eventually ballooned to 47-28 as Mbe and Celda each finished with 11 points at halftime.
