DID YOU KNOW: National Dental Health Week
National Dental Health Week is observed from Feb. 3 to 9 by virtue of Proclamation No. 235 signed on Jan. 24, 1951, by then President Elpidio Quirino. The proclamation highlights the importance of raising dental health consciousness among the Filipinos. In 2004, it was expanded into a month-long celebration led by the Philippine Dental Association. —Marielle Medina
