ACES takes on SCSIT

THE ATHLETES for Christ in Excellent Service (ACES) will try to solidify their hold of second place in the standings today when they take on the Salazar Colleges of Science and Institute of Technology (SCSIT) Baby Skyblazers in the Jr. Cebu Basketball Association at the Cebu Eastern College (CEC) gym.

The Aces of head coach Al Solis have been churning out win after win after a lackluster start, including one over the current league leader the Family Appliance, which is being bannered by the Cesafi juniors champions CEC Dragons. They now find themselves in second place behind the Dragons at 4-2 (win-loss).

The other game today will pit the Aerophone, a team composed mainly of the core of the University of San Carlos (USC) Baby Warriors, against the Shalom Cable Technologies Inc. of head coach Mark Tallo. Correspondent Jonas Panerio
