Bautista to lead ALA fighters in public work out tomorrow

/ 07:08 AM May 27, 2011

BOHOL’S prized boxer Rey “Boom-Boom” Bautista will have a public sparring session this Saturday at the Parkmall in Mandaue City.
The session starts at 5 p.m. and serves as part of his preparation for his upcoming rematch against Mexican rival Heriberto “Cuate” Ruiz on June 11 at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino. The bout will be the main event of the Pinoy Pride 6: Grudge Rematch.

The Mexican counter puncher Ruiz won over Bautista via a unanimous decision last 2008 in Las Vegas, USA.

While Bautista is eyeing redemption, Ruiz will be looking to etch another upset win over the Filipino.
