PH Red Cross gives aid to devotees in Traslacion 2018

At least 60 devotees have so far been given assistance by the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) as devotees flocked on Tuesday to this year’s Traslacion in Manila.

As of 8 a.m., the PRC said it has treated a total number of 67 devotees as they gathered in the vicinity of Quiapo Church and Quirino Grandstand.

The PRC said it has deployed 2,000 volunteers, 58 ambulances, nine first aid stations, and eight rescue trucks around the area of the procession.

Traslacion 2018 started by 5:07 a.m. with the image of the Black Nazarene leaving the Quirino Grandstand.              /kga
