P200,000 offered for info on slay of Cavite mom, daughter
The city government of General Trias in Cavite province offered a P200,000 reward for any information that might help solve the killing of a woman and her daughter.
Supt. Sandro Tafalla, the city police chief, on Saturday said that Mayor Antonio Ferrer offered the bounty as investigation of the killing of Ruby Gamos, 37, and her daughter, Shaniah Nicole, 7, continued.
Tafalla said police identified at least four “persons of interest.” When asked, Tafalla said these people were known to the Gamoses (“kakilala”).
The victims were found inside their house at Kensington Subdivision in Barangay Navarro on Dec. 11, several days after relatives failed to hear from them.
Tafalla said they found no sign of a forced entry into the victims’ home.
Police said Gamos might have died from a blow to the head while Shaniah from choking.
