Cop kills soldier, wounds 3 others inside Zamboanga Sibugay disco house

ZAMBOANGA CITY—A soldier died, while three others were wounded, when a policeman started shooting inside Planet Disco House at Don Andres village, Ipil town in Zamboanga Sibugay, Wednesday dawn.

Top military and police officials were silent as to the motive of the shooting but Police Senior Supt. Nestor Tiempo, provincial police director of Zamboanga Sibugay provincial police, said Pfc. Gerard Jan Aujero Cordero, 27, of the 53rd Infantry Battalion was killed, while his companions, Corporals Seperino Damacino and Giovanie Diodor, were wounded.

A civilian,  Al Gerard Santos, who just happened to be in the area during the incident, was also wounded.  Santos is a resident of Tungawan town.
