Ex-military man found hanging dead

A FORMER military man was found hanging dead a few hours after he was discharged from a rehabilitation center in barangay Talamban, Cebu City.

Ahmid Estrella Caburnay, 45, was found suspended from a beam with a nylon rope tied around his neck.

Caburnay was admitted in a rehabilitation center last August after he developed depression while he was assigned in Mindanao.

Caburnay was discharged from the center last Friday and was picked up by his parents.

They  went to the house of Caburnay’s brother in barangay Tisa. Caburnay  was last seen  alive going into a  room.

According to the family,  the suicide victim was bothered by financial problems, said PO3 Ruth Bongo, homicide investigator of the Cebu City Police Office./CORRESPONDENT CHITO O. ARAGON
