Alleged drug trafficking and car theft group busted in Pampanga

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — The police in this Pampanga capital reported busting the Joshua Group which has been linked to drug trafficking and car theft, following the arrest of its three alleged leaders on Saturday night.

Nabbed in a 10:48 p.m. drug bust were Joshua Toca, a 20-year-old mechanic from this city; Mar Lorenz Nucom, 23 and a resident of Apalit town; and Jerald Tumazar, 20 and native of Camarines Sur.

Supt. Ronald Agohob, city police chief, said the group admitted stealing 10 motorcycles in various parts of Pampanga, seven of which had been sold.

Cops reported recovering from the trio at least 50 sachets of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) worth P30,000.

The police also recovered two motorcycles with licensed plate number CO6356 and chassis number KSW00135970, which were reported stolen in the cities of Angeles and San Fernando two months ago. JE
