The Department of Health’s (DOH) regional office in Mimaropa region will build its own drug rehabilitation and treatment center to serve more than 500 patients.

The P600-million rehabilitation center would rise in Bansud, Oriental Mindoro, and serve the region’s five provinces.

Eduardo Janairo, DOH regional director, said the facility would augment ongoing community-based rehabilitation programs of provincial and local government health units.
