LUCENA CITY-A woman was shot and killed by two men inside her sari-sari (variety) store in Infanta town in Quezon province on Monday night, police said Tuesday.

A report from the Quezon provincial police said Emelinda Peñamora, 59, was packing grocery items inside her store in Barangay (village) Libjo when the gunmen attacked her at 7:30 p.m.

Police said the suspects, after shooting Peñamora, also fired at the house of Teody Juntereal, about 300 meters away from the victim’s store.
