Twin magnitude 4.2 quakes hit Davao Oriental
Two magnitude 4.2 earthquakes jolted Davao Oriental on Thursday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The first quake, which was tectonic in origin, struck 58 kilometers southeast of Caraga town at 11:07 a.m. It had a depth of 26 kilometers.

The second one, meanwhile, was recorded at 3:15 p.m. some 40 kilometers southeast of Caraga. It had a depth of 15 kilometers.
No damages and aftershocks were expected from the two quakes, Phivolcs said. YG/JE/rga
