Did you know: HIV cases in Metro Manila

Based on the latest data from the Department of Health, Metro Manila posted the highest number of new human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) cases in December among all the regions. The figures showed that 36 percent or 267 of the reported 750 new HIV cases registered nationwide are from the National Captial Region. This was followed by Region 4A with 18 percent or 138 cases reported in December. —Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
