Woman killed, two hurt in Vizcaya collision
SANTIAGO CITY — A 54-year-old woman died, while two others were hurt, in a Wednesday collision (March 1) involving four vehicles at Solano town in Nueva Vizcaya province.
Lolita Valdez, 54, died on the way to a hospital after the tricycle ferrying her and Gaybert Balangatan, 43, struck a Mitsubishi Adventure owned by the Nueva Vizcaya Provincial Agriculture Office, before colliding with two other cars on the road in Bascaran village at dawn, police said.
The accident injured Balangatan and 52-year-old tricycle driver Rodrigo Brin, said SPO2 Joey Aquino of the Solano police.
The government vehicle was driven by Jonel Leano, who was not harmed. SFM
