28 suspects nabbed in 3 drug dens dismantled in Cavite
LUCENA CITY – Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) agents swooped down on three alleged drug dens in Tanza town in Cavite province and arrested 28 suspected drug pushers and users on Saturday, a PDEA regional officer said Wednesday.
In a belated report, Archie Grande, PDEA-IV-A director, said agency operatives armed with search warrants simultaneously raided three residential houses in Barangay (village) Paradahan 1 which were being used as drug dens in an area tagged as “shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) tiangge” (flea market).
Three suspected den maintainers, Gassy Sellote, 34; Amay Mores, 35 and his brother Michael, 33, were arrested. Drug agents also confiscated drug paraphernalia, 51 grams of shabu from Sellote, 34 grams from Michael and 24 grams from Amay.
The raiders also arrested 25 drug den patrons, Grande said. CDG
