Albay Representative Joey Salceda on Wednesday sought assistance for areas and victims in his province devastated by Typhoon “Nina.”

“I ardently seek your assistance for relief preferably commodities – rice, canned goods and other food items, water, clothing, household necessities like soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush, housing materials or tarps, medicines,” Salceda said in a statement.

He said Polangui, his town of birth, was badly devastated by Typhoon “Nina” including its neighboring towns of Libon and Oas. Two other towns in Albay – Tiwi and Malinao, he said, were also badly damaged by the typhoon.
