Expect heavy traffic on Skyway, SLEx on Oct. 28, 29, Nov. 1
From Oct. 28 to Nov. 2, Skyway O&M Corp., Manila Toll Expressway System Inc. and Star Tollway Corp., operators of Skyway System, South Luzon Expressway (SLEx) and Star Tollway, will step up their patrol and motorist assistance operations for motorists headed out of town.
The Automobile Association of the Philippines and PTS Towing Services and Lifeline Rescue will also be deployed to the toll roads to respond to emergencies. Traffic is expected to build up on Friday night, Oct. 28, until Oct. 29 and again on Nov. 1.
Motorists should expect above average traffic at the Main Toll Plaza, Doña Soledad, Dr. A. Santos, Alabang and NaiaEx on the elevated section of the Skyway System, and at C5, Nichols, Merville, Bicutan and Sucat exits, Alabang and South Station on the at-grade section.
On the SLEx, expect heavy traffic at the Filinvest entry/exit; Susana Heights northbound; Carmona both southbound and northbound; southbound exits of Mamplasan, Sta. Rosa, Eton and Cabuyao, and both northbound and southbound exits of Calamba and Greenfields.
At the Star Tollway, motorists may experience queuing at the toll plazas of Sto. Tomas, Tanauan, Malvar, Balete, Lipa, Ibaan and Batangas City.
