3 Davao blast suspects charged
The Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) on Friday filed a case of violation of Republic Act 9516 for illegal possession of explosives, firearms and ammunition against the suspects in the Davao night market bombing last month.
Charged before the Department of Justice (DOJ) were TJ Tagadaya Macabalang alias Abu Tufael, Wendell Apostol Facturan alias Muraimin and Musali Mustafa alias Mus.
All the three suspects were taken to the DOJ to undergo an inquest proceeding.
An inquest is a summary investigation conducted by a public prosecutor in a criminal case involving a person arrested and detained without the benefit of a warrant of arrest for the purpose of determining whether the person should remain under custody and be charged in court./rga
