Once proper charges are filed in court, Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II said the Department of Justice (DOJ) may be constrained to present as evidence the three purported sex videos of Sen. Leila de Lima.

“Malaki ang significance [of the videos]. It will prove how Ronnie Dayan was powerful, why he was able to extract money from the drug lords because an ordinary driver could not do it,” Aguirre said.

Dayan is De Lima’s former driver who has been tagged of involvement in the illegal drug trade.

Former Bureau of Corrections officer in charge and National Bureau of Investigation Deputy Director Rafael Ragos had testified that there were two occasions he and escort Jovencio Ablen each delivered P5 million to De Lima’s house. He said they handed the money to Dayan in the presence of De Lima.

The videos, however, had yet to be submitted to the NBI for authentication, said Aguirre.
