ILOILO CITY — A body of an unidentified man believed to be another victim of summary killing was found in San Joaquin town in Iloilo early Wednesday.

Police had yet to identify the man found by a resident about 5 a.m. along the national highway in Barangay Baybay in San Joaquin, about 53 kilometers south of here.

The man’s face and legs were wrapped in packing tape, said PO3 Steve Francis Facto, investigator of the San Joaquin police station.

Inside his shirt were two placards, one saying: “Pusher Akyat Bahay Holdaper Ako, Huwag Tularan.” (I am a Pusher, a Thief, Don’t be like Me)

The cause of death is still being determined, as of this posting, as there were no gunshot, stab or other surface wounds. Investigators did not recover any firearm or weapon or illegal drugs.

There were bruises but police said these did not automatically mean they were caused by a beating.  SFM
