Boxes of fish seized in Pasil market
AT LEAST 18 boxes of fish believed to have been caught through illegal fishing were seized from Pasil Market in Cebu City at dawn yesterday.
The boxes of fish weighing 816 kilos were worth P50,000.
The confiscation was made by the Bantay Dagat-Cebu City and Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources in Central Visayas.
The supplier of the confiscated fish believed to have came from from San Remegio town and Bogo City in northern Cebu was not identified. /CORRESPONDENT KATREENA BISNAR
