On 1st day as HUDCC chair, Robredo meets with urban poor leaders
A day after Vice President Leni Robredo took oath as the housing czar, Robredo immediately buckled down to work on her first day as the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC) chair.
Robredo met with the leaders of urban poor groups at the new office of the Vice President at the Quezon City Reception House in New Manila on Wednesday morning.
Present in the meeting are leaders from Urban Poor Associates, Community Organizers Multiversity (CO Multiversity), and Ugnayang Lakas ng mga Apektadong Pamilya (ULAP).

Robredo promised to fulfill the HUDCC’s mandate to provide decent housing for the poor and address the 1.4-million housing backlog within her term.
