4 BIFF rebels hurt in clash with soldiers in Maguindanao
DAVAO CITY – Heavy clashes erupted in Maguindanao between soldiers and members of the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) on Wednesday, a military report said.
At least four BIFF members were injured in the clashes that took place in the outskirts of Mamasapano and Datu Unsay towns.
Abu Misri Mama, the BIFF spokesperson, said the clashes started around 2 a.m. when soldiers came in.
He said the military also flew choppers and pounded their position.
