WATCH: TV host gets impaled by nail in botched magic trick
People would often do crazy things “for the love of the job,” but the female host in this graphic video may have gone little bit too far.
Marzena Rogalska, host of the Polish show “Question for Breakfast,” got more than she bargained for when she agreed to participate in a magic trick on live television.
As seen in a gnarly one-minute-and-five-second YouTube video, Rogalska unsuspectedly held her hand over one of three paper bags for the magic trick.
According to a New York Post report, she was expected to choose the right bag to slam her hand onto—a task fraught with danger—as one of them contained a hidden nail.
However, the trick, performed by a “Poland’s Got Talent” semifinalist, soon went horribly wrong, as he grabbed Rogalska’s hand and slammed it down on the bag which was meant to be empty. Unfortunately for the host, the nail peirced her hand.

The trick was rehearsed correctly prior to the taping, the report said, and Rogalska did not reappear following the incident.
After being taken to the hospital, Rogalska’s injury was deemed to be superficial and was sent home after receiving an anti-tetanus shot.
The host also took to Facebook to reassure fans that she was in good condition in a recorded video, which sees her with a bandaged hand, as the magician playfully kisses her wound to make it better. Khristian Ibarrola
