The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) will create a national task force that will concentrate on the drug problem in the country.

Dante Gierran said the National Task Force on Drug Abuse would be composed of chosen operatives of the NBI.

Gierran on Friday formally assumed his post as NBI director after the turnover ceremony held at the NBI gym which was attended by Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II. NBI is an attached agency of the DOJ.
