Robredo thanks supporters at QC concert gathering

VICE PRESIDENT Leni Robredo thanked thousands of her supporters during a celebration in Quezon City after she was sworn in on Thursday.
The “Isang Pasasalamat (A Thanksgiving)” concert has kicked off at the Quezon City Memorial Circle, the same place where Robredo and her running mate Mar Roxas gathered with supporters during their miting de avance in May.
Viel Aquino-Dee, a sister of now former President Benigno Aquino III, attended the event to represent the Aquino family.
Majority of the supporters, including foreigners, showed up wearing yellow shirts, Robredo’s party color.
Several artists supporting Robredo volunteered to entertain the crowd for free. Among the artists performing are Darren Espanto, Christian Bautista, The Company, Sam Concepcion, Rak of Aegis stars, John Arcilla, Agot Isidro, Tres Marias, Raymond Roldan, 5th Gen, Moonstar 88 and Gracenote.
Arcilla, Isidro and Bautista endorsed Robredo’s candidacy.
