Only state-run media in Rizal Hall for Duterte inauguration
DAVAO CITY—Only the state-run television station and Radio Television Malacanang (RTVM) would be allowed in Rizal Hall in Malacañang to cover the inauguration of President-elect Rodrigo Duterte on June 30.
Incoming Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) head Martin Andanar said only People’s Television 4 (PTV 4) and RTVM would be allowed inside.
Andanar said the Rizal Hall could only accommodate around 500 guests, who would include foreign diplomats and lawmakers.
