CA OKs appointments of AFP, DFA officials

The powerful Commission on Appointments (CA) has confirmed the ad interim re-appointments and appointments of 196 senior officers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) as well as the appointments of 28 officials of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA)

No member of the CA objected when a motion to confirm the appointments of the military officials was made in the plenary on Wednesday.

The CA also confirmed the appointments of the following diplomats:

The confirmation of the appointments of the AFP and DFA officials came just days before the 16th Congress adjourns sine die next week. The new Congress will open on July 25. RAM
