Driver shot dead by father in Lipa City
BATANGAS CITY, Philippines—A van driver was shot and killed by his father during a heated argument in their house in Lipa City in this province on Tuesday noon, police said.
Supt. Barnard Danie Dasugo, Lipa City police chief, said Amadillo Custodio, 68, shot his son Dennis, 36, after the latter confronted him on his excessive drinking. Dennis, who was hit in the head, died instantly.
Found at the crime scene in the family’s house in Purok 6, Barangay (village) Pinagtung-Ulan was an empty shell of a .22 cal. gun.
