Pagasa issues thunderstorm warning over Metro Manila, nearby provinces

The state weather bureau on Saturday said thunderstorm is expected to affect Metro Manila and neighboring provinces within the next few hours.

In an advisory issued at 11:30 a.m., the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said thunderstorm is expected over the National Capital Region, Rizal, Zambales, Bataan, Laguna, Quezon, and Cavite within the next two hours.

At 1 p.m., Pagasa said thunderstorm may persist within two hours in Antipolo and Tanay in Rizal; Sta. Rosa, Cabuyao, Sta. Maria and Famy in Laguna; Poon Bato Candelaria, Masinloc, and Sta. Cruz in Zambales; Palali, Gen. Tinio, and Palayan City in Nueva Ecija; and portion of Bataan and Quezon.
