“Nagkuwentuhan kami hanggang inumaga na kaming dalawa. Puno ng samu’t saring reaksyon. Magkasama kami ng nanay ko, merong konting sentimental, maraming tawa…” said Poe.

(We just talked about things until morning. We have different reactions. My mother and I were together, we had a bit of sentimental moments and laughter.)

Poe, who is running for president, said she was a bit nervous just like when she first ran for the Senate in 2013.

Poe said her father, the late action king Fernando Poe Jr., was one of the many reasons why she decided to run for President.

(It’s all because of him. Our countrymen won’t know me if not because of him that’s why I offer [my candidacy] to him.)

(But for me, the most significant in this campaign, first of all, we presented platforms to help our countrymen, especially the poor and the oppressed.)
