Binay vows to put up barangay health centers nationwide
DAGUPAN CITY- Vice President Jejomar Binay on Sunday vowed to put up barangay health centers all over the country in a bid to provide health services to the most impoverished areas.
During the presidential debate at the University of Pangasinan on Sunday, Binay was asked by Mang Jun how the vice president seeks to provide health services to the poorest provinces.
Jun said his father died because he was unable to bring his father to the nearest hospital.
Primary health care ang problema,” Binay said.
Binay also promised free hospital services and medicine to poor Filipinos.
He said he could relate with the experience of Jun, because his mother also died of breast cancer when Binay was young.
