Aquino assigns former PNP official as new chair of Dangerous Drugs Board
President Benigno Aquino III has assigned Felipe Rojas Jr., former Philippine National Police (PNP) deputy chief for administration, as head of the Dangerous Drugs Board, Malacañang said.
“According to ES Paquito Ochoa Jr., President Aquino has appointed Felipe Rojas, Jr., as Member of the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) for a term expiring on 4 January 2022, and has designated him Chairman of the said Board, vice Antonio Villar, Jr.,” Communications Secretary Herminio Coloma Jr. said in a text message.
“He served previously as PNP Deputy Director General for Administration,” he added.

Rojas, in a phone interview with media, said he will see to it that the DDB’s national action plan is implemented. He said because the business of drugs is very profitable, it is important to reduce its supply.
Coloma said Rojas’ appointment papers were signed February 26.
