The National Commission on Culture and the Arts (NCCA) is calling on individuals to be part of the historical restoration of the Manila Metropolitan Theater (Met) by participating in cleanup drives which will last till May.

NCCA administrative officer Kate Andres said on Wednesday that interested volunteers may now sign up for cleanup sessions on March 19, and April 16 and 30 by opening a link posted on the METamorphosis Facebook page.

Registration is at 8 a.m. while the cleanup will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. There will be an orientation for volunteers beforehand. Only 60 volunteers will be allowed to participate per day.

Names of accepted volunteers will be posted on the METamorphosis Facebook page before the scheduled cleanup date. Those interested may call the NCCA at 5272192 or e-mail [email protected]. Annelle Tayao-Juego
