Arroyo at home in Quezon City to spend New Year with family

Former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and now Pampanga Representative has arrived at her house in La Vista Subdivision in Quezon City to spend the New Year with her family.

Arroyo left Veterans Memorial Medical Center (VMMC) at 8:23 a.m. and arrived at her house 10 minutes later.

Arroyo was able to leave VMMC after the Supreme Court allowed her to spend Christmas and New Year at her house in Quezon City.

Furlough starts at 8:00 a.m. Dec. 30 and ends at 5 p.m. on Jan. 2, 2016.

The high court gave the furlough pending resolution of her urgent motion for house arrest.

Arroyo is currently detained at the VMMC for her lone plunder case in connection with the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office scam. RAM
