Pro-Grace Poe group blasts Escudero, calls him ‘Ahas-cudero’

A civil society group rallied behind Senator Grace Poe but denounced her running mate, Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero.
Members of the Philippine Crusader for Justice (PCJ) carried placards calling Escudero “Ahas-cudero (a play on words with ‘snake’ and his last name),” “Boy Laglag (deserter),” and “Boy Abandon.”
PCJ Secretary General Joe Villanueva expressed dismay, saying Escudero misled Poe in encouraging her to run for President despite knowing that she will be slapped with disqualification petitions.
Villanueva accused Escudero of protecting his personal interest.
The group noted that Escudero might abandon Poe, in the manner he abandoned the Aquino-Roxas tandem in 2010.
