Veteran runners rule 60-km challenge

VETERAN RUNNERS Noel Tillor and Melinda Ponce topped the Summit 60-kilometer Ultra Challenge in Talisay Ctiy yesterday.

Tillor conquered the 60k race with a time of 6 hours, 18 minutes and 17 seconds while Ponce dominated the distaff side in 7 hours, 43 minutes and 26 seconds.

Archie Alvarado claimed the second spot with a time of 6 hours, 31 minutes and 10 seconds followed by Virgilio Belecario Sr. in 6 hours, 41 minutes and 45 seconds.

Janet Legaspi was second in the women’s side with a time of 8 hours, 44 minutes and 10 seconds while  and Coleen Digman clocked 9 hours, 43 minutes and 21 seconds for third place.

FEATURED STORIES

In the relay category,  the Cebu Executive Runners Club (CERC) emerged winners with a combined time of 6 hours, 35 minutes and 37 seconds. CERC is composed of Steve Ferraren, Rey Doque and Cynthia Arnaiz.

Team Toledo Adik ug Dagan (TAD) settled for second place (7:30:36) followed by the Cebu Ultra unners Club (CUC) (7:30:46) seconds. /CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
