Liberal Party (LP) standard-bearer Mar Roxas challenged senatorial aspirant Richard Gordon to identify the LP members who allegedly asked him to file a disqualification case against Senator Grace Poe.

This was after Gordon revealed in a recent interview that some LP and United Nationalist Alliance members “approached” him to file a case to disqualify Poe in the elections over her citizen and residency issues.

Parati na lang, ‘member of LP,’” said Roxas.

(The point here is that it’s not right to broadcast it because there’s no specific person. It’s always “a member of LP.”)

Roxas and his running mate Camarines Sur Rep. Leni Robredo had cancelled their campaign schedules to visit to typhoon-stricken provinces to distribute relief goods.

Since Tuesday, they have visited several towns in Aurora, Nueva Ecija, and Pangasinan to personally hand food packs to the victims of Typhoon “Lando.”

Roxas also stressed that the LP will not hesitate to get rid of any party member who will be found engaging in dirty tactics.

“Malinaw na malinaw sa amin ni Leni na the way we campaign is the way we govern—malinis, tapat, diretso,” he said.

(It’s very clear to Leni and I that the way we campaign is the way we govern—clean, just, straight.)

But Roxas believes that the LP being criticized and attacked only mean that they are on top.

(You know, I’m glad that I’m the one who’s always criticized in any event. It means that maybe the fruit is sweet, that’s why it always gets thrown at.)
