5.4-magnitude quake hits Occidental Mindoro
A 5.4-magnitude earthquake jolted Occidental Mindoro late Monday night, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
It was tectonic origin with a depth of 101 kilometers and recorded at 9:50 p.m., the agency added.
According to Phivolcs, the quake was located at 13.83°N, 120.39°E – 019 km N 51° east of Looc, Occidental Mindoro.
Phivolcs said the quake was also felt in the following areas:
-Intensity V- Batangas City
-Intensity IV- Tagaytay City; Puerto Gallera, Oriental Mindoro; Mandaluyong City; Makati City, Pasay City

It said aftershocks are exepected.
