Grace Poe’s announcement a star-studded event

Stars showed up even before nightfall on Wednesday to attend Senator Grace Poe’s expected announcement of her presidential bid in 2016.

Among the showbiz personalities who showed up at the Bahay ng Alumni in the University of the Philippines Diliman, Quezon City included Carmina Villaroel and husband, Zoren Legaspi; Tirso Cruz III and his wife; actor Albert Martinez; and veteran actress Boots Anson Roa. Lorna Tolentino and her son were also at the venue.

Singer Yeng Constantino sang an OPM hits medley to entertain Poe’s supporters, friends, and family.

Poe is scheduled to arrive at 6:00pm, but an emcee said she would be at the venue at 6:30 pm. JE
