Nonstop rains drench Metro Manila anew on a rush hour

Still reeling from Tuesday’s “carmageddon,” Metro Manila was drenched from thunderstorms anew on a rush hour on Thursday.

Netizens took to social media their rants on the heavy vehicular traffic, floods and the continuous heavy downpour punctuated with thunder and lightning.

As of 6:32 p.m., the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration issued a thunderstorm advisory in Metro Manila.

It said the weather condition would persist in the next two hours.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated thunderstorms would prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country, Pagasa said in its bulletin on Thursday afternoon.
