‘May forever’: Netizens rant over flood-traffic combo
“Traffic at baha na lang ang forever.”
Thus said Alyana Banayos as she shared her frustrations on Twitter over the torrential rains that flooded parts of Metro Manila on Tuesday evening, leaving hundreds of commuters stranded and causing monstrous traffic jams in the capital region’s busiest thoroughfares.

Banayos, who included the hashtag #edsaparkinglot in her tweet, said it took her five hours to travel from Pasay to Quezon City.
But her case was not the worst, as there were others who shared that it took them six to seven hours before they were able to go home from work.
“Just got home. 3:15 a.m. Nakaka-beast mode ang traffic mo, Manila. Isang ulan lang, baha kaagad. 6 hours sa bus? Wow buti na lang may kadaldalan ako,” Ivan Eugenio (@alxndrivn17) tweeted.

“First time kong makaranas ng ala-una ng madaling araw pero parang alas otso ng gabi,” @itsmereynabs said.
“Intense traffic and baha. We can only experience here in the Philippines,” @laikavain tweeted.
But others remained hopeful that Metro Manila’s traffic and flooding woes will still be solved in due time, saying that they will just “move on” from what happened last night.
“Umaasa pa rin ako na kaya pang solusyunan ang traffic at baha sa Manila. Please naman,” Sarah Jimenez.
“Hanggang ngayon hindi ako maka-get over sa traffic at baha kagabi. Pero dedma na. Balik trabaho na ulit,” Marvhie Ortega said. YG
