Partly cloudy Sunday over Metro Manila

Cloudy skies with light to moderate rain are forecast over large portions of the Visayas and Mindanao on Sunday, August 16, 2015.

Isolated thunderstorms are expected over the regions of Eastern and Central Visayas, Caraga, Davao and Northern Mindanao, said the 5 a.m. bulletin of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

Meanwhile, Pagasa said Metro Manila and the rest of the country would be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated thunderstorm.

Light to moderate winds from the southeast going south will prevail over Luzon, while winds from the south going southwest will prevail over the rest of the country. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate.
