By virtue of Republic Act 9645 signed in 2009 by then President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, July 27 was officially declared a special national working holiday in recognition of the founding anniversary of the Iglesia ni Cristo in the Philippines. The INC central office is on Commonwealth Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City.–Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
