Ansing Jimenez; 92

Francisca “Ansing” Lastrilla Jimenez passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 22, 2015. She was 92. She is survived by her brother, Dr. Rudolfo S. Lastrilla and her Lastrilla and Jimenez nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

Her cremated remains lie at the Funeraria Paz, Molave Chapel, Manila Memorial Park, Parañaque, until Sunday. On Monday, Ms. Jimenez’ remains are scheduled to be flown to her hometown in Tacloban City, Leyte.

Ms. Jimenez was a victim of Yolanda in 2013 and never recovered from her traumatic experience from being rescued on top of a table as the waters rapidly rose in her home.
